Autonomous drone (VUB)

In second year in my engineering studies at the VUB we had the opportunity to make a project related to mechanics and electronics. We had to build an autonomous drone capable of delivering vaccines to several hospital in Brussels.

Bridge construction (VUB)

In our second year, we undertook several engineering projects across various fields. Here, I'll explain how we constructed a suspension bridge using only MDF wood. The bridge needed to support a total weight of 260 kg over a span of 3.4 meters.

Oxygen filter (VUB)

The last of the four projects we had to make in second year was to build a filter for purifying oxygen gas from air. Again for this project we had 6 days spread across 6 weeks with a team of 5 engineering students. This project was part of the environmental technology and sustainable materials classes. We made it by constructing a PSA system.

In second year in my engineering studies we had the opportunity to make a project related to electronics and information technology. We decided to make a millionair type of quiz where you're score is visualised by the hight of a pingpongbal in a ventilated tube and where the answer options are selected by interrupting laser rays.
